Rapple client portal: Terms of use
Last updated 20 October 2026.
1. Who we are. The portal is run by Rapple Products (Pty) Ltd, Reg. No. 2011/103047/07, Unit 20 Silver Park, Silver Street, Brackenfell, Cape Town, 7560 ("Rapple", "we", "us"). VAT registration number 4180264774.
2. What the portal is. A private page where our clients see their quotes, invoices, statement, documents and deliveries. It uses the same login as the Rapple website. We do not create a separate login.
3. Your login. Keep your website login to yourself and to the people in your business who need it. You are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
4. Quotes. A quote shows our prices excluding VAT, with VAT added in the total. It is valid until the date shown, and stock is not held until you accept. Accepting a quote in the portal is an order from you. Declining tells us you do not want it. You can enter your purchase order number when you accept.
5. Invoices and statement. These show what our books hold at the time you look. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will check it. They are not a substitute for the tax invoice we issue.
6. Deliveries. When we deliver, our driver asks the person receiving the goods to sign on the driver's phone, or uploads a photo of your signed paper copy. The signed copy is kept on your order and shown in the portal. Please check the goods when you sign and note any damage or shortage on the delivery note.
7. Using the portal. Do not try to see another client's information, copy the portal's content, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Availability. We work to keep the portal available but do not promise it will never be down. Prices and stock can change; the figures on a quote are the ones that count.
9. Liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by the portal being unavailable or by someone using your login. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law.
10. Your information. See the portal privacy notice (separate draft).
11. Changes. We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version here.
12. Law. South African law applies.
